This is my first oil paintings, and what a fun medium :) I wanted to make sort of an Alaskan Christmas card, so I used that theme to come up with 'Northern Lights'.

That's a really interesting painting! Those lights on the tree are nice, shiny and warm, like fairies. I think some snow on the trees would add a more realistic feel to the painting.
